Coach Mike brings over four decades of coaching experience in gymnastics, having worked extensively across Canada, the United States, and the Bahamas. Throughout his career, he has successfully trained athletes to reach the national level, earning a reputation for excellence and dedication.

He is widely recognized for his positive and encouraging coaching style, fostering an environment where athletes are consistently challenged, motivated, and supported—all while having fun and building confidence.

Mike is deeply committed to ongoing professional development. His passion for learning is reflected in his participation in numerous coaching clinics, including:​

• US National Congress – 13 years attended

• Ontario Congress – 8 years attended

• Nick Ruddock Ontario Coaching Clinics – 3 years attended

He has held Head Coach positions at gymnastics centres in New Brunswick, Alberta, Ontario, and Michigan, where he has led programs and mentored both athletes and fellow coaches.

For the past four years, Mike has been a valued coach at the No Limits Competitive Gymnastics Camp, contributing to the growth and success of young athletes in a high-performance setting.

Mike has coached teams at a wide range of prestigious competitions, including:​

• Eastern Canadian Championships

• Atlantic Championships

• Canadian Nationals

• Ontario Winter Games

• Alberta Winter Games

• Inter-Provincial Cup

In addition to his gymnastics expertise, Mike has a strong background in dance, with training in:

• Ballet – Cecchetti Grade 4

• Tap – Al Gilbert Grade 7

• Jazz – Al Gilbert

• Breakdancing

​Mike holds NCCP certifications in multiple disciplines:​

• Level 4 – Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG)

• Level 3 Certified – WAG

• Level 3 Certified – Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG)

• Level 3 – Trampoline

• Level 3 – Diving

• Level 3 – Dance

By launching his own gymnastics facility, Mike is now able to channel his extensive experience and training into building an elite program—one that not only advances athletes to their highest potential but also mentors and develops future coaches.
